Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas has said that he is taking unprecedented steps to end the political division in Palestine.
Quoting the statement of Mr Abbas, official WAFA news agency said, the President is going to take these steps in coming days to end the division between his West Bank-based autonomy Government and the Hamas-run Gaza Strip.
However, Mr Abbas has not mentioned details of measures being taken for unity of all groups of Palestinians.
The Islamic militant group Hamas had taken control of Gaza in 2007 from the Palestinian President and the unity Government set up in 2014 has not succeeded so far to take control in Gaza.
