During the virtual meeting with Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya with Health Ministers earlier in the day, Mr. Tope said, ‘Mission Yuva Swasthya’ and ‘Mission Kavach Kundal’ helped the state to increase the pace of vaccination.

The Minister said that awareness campaigns to remove fear and suspicion among citizens are being conducted with the help of opinion leaders and religious figures. Mr. Tope requested the Centre to consider reducing the gap between two doses of Covishield as it will help in achieving full vaccination status at the earliest.
