Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has called a meeting of all political parties on 11th September 2023 in an attempt to resolve the reservation issue for Maratha community. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar informed on 10th September 2023 that the top leaders of parties from the ruling and Opposition have been invited for the meeting to discuss and hammer out an amicable solution to the issue.
