Five people were killed and four others injured in a road accident in Dhule district, Maharashtra. The incident occurred this morning when a speeding private passenger vehicle collided head-on with a van. Among the deceased are three women.
The victims have not yet been identified. The injured, including the driver of the private vehicle, are receiving treatment in Dhule. Preliminary reports indicate that the driver was intoxicated. The investigation is currently underway.
