Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Mr. Nitin Gadkari has said that Lord Gautam Buddha’s teachings could lead us resolve the vexed issues of international terrorism and violence. He was speaking at a special function held at the Dragon Palace Temple at Kamptee near Nagpur to mark 60th Anniversary of Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Din today.
The foundation stone was also laid for the approach road for the Temple from the National Highway at this juncture.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Mr. Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated Dadasaheb Kumbhare Multipurpose Institute erected in the same premises. Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Mr. Ramdas Athawale, Maharashtra Social Justice Minister Mr. Rajkumar Badole and Guardian Minister of the district Mr. Chandrashekhar Bawankule were also present on this occasion.
