The National Commission for Women has taken suo motu cognizance of a gang-rape incident in Kerala. The Commission chairperson Rekha Sharma has written to State DGP seeking immediate action in it.
NCW has been informed of six arrests in the case. As per the media reports, a 25-year old woman from Thiruvananthapuram, was gang-raped by her husband and his friends in front of her five-year-old child.
