Justice Soumen Sen was sworn in today as the new Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court. Governor Rajendra Viswanath Arlekar administered the oath at a ceremony held at Kerala Lok Bhavan. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Speaker AN Shamseer, Thiruvananthapuram Mayor V.V. Rajesh and other dignitaries attended the event. Justice Soumen Sen assumed charge following the superannuation of Justice Nitin Madhukar Jamdar. Prior to this appointment, Justice Sen was serving as the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court.
