It comes a day after Dr. Joshi submitted his controversial report on the 2G spectrum issue to the Speaker.

Dr. Joshi’s report was rejected by 11 of the 21 members of the PAC on Friday. The members who rejected the report belonged to the United Progressive Alliance besides BSP and SP. It was a chaotic situation in the meeting with both sides charging each other for disrupting the meeting. While the PAC Chairman alleged that he was not allowed to speak in the meeting and adjourned it, the Congress led alliance members said that Dr. Joshi walked out from the meeting and they elected Prof. Soz as the Chairman of the Committee that rejected the report.
