Musicians from Kashmir are performing Live tonight through a Musical Concert in which Kashmiri Singers in Kashmir and those living abroad would come together and enthral the Kashmiri Audience through their performances. This was aimed to keep the Art of Kashmir alive during these trying times when people are depressed following the outbreak of COVID-19 in the world.

Santoor maestro Bhajan Sopori, noted-theatre actor M K Raina, former ADG Doordarshan Ashok Jailkhani and other artists have appreciated the idea and released promotional videos on the social media to support the initiative. Famous Kashmiri music artists are coming together for the first ever, virtual concert in Kashmir valley to connect people from across the globe during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis to keep the art and culture of Kashmir alive at these difficult times.

Famous Kashmiri Singer of the Valley and Chairman of Kashmiri Music Club,, Waheed Jeelani said that the title of the musical concert by the name “Qaraar” would be of three hours duration from 6pm tonight in which Kashmiri vocalists and Instrumentalists on Facebook will try to bring cheers and provide solace to the already demoralised public following the outbreak of Cornavirus pandemic.

Apart from Waheed Jeelani, renowned singers like Rashid Jahangir from Doda, Archana Jalali from Ottawa in Canada and other singers from Srinagar will enthral the online audience and provide solace to their hearts in these times when art and entertainment of Kashmir has enormously affected due to the prevailing lockdown and pandemic circumstances.
