More than 18 army personnel were injured in an accidental blast within Army camp in Khrew Pampore area of Pulwama district in Jammu & Kashmir today.
Defence spokesman Col N N Joshi Saturday evening told AIR that eighteen army personnel were injured in an accidental explosion at army’s Corps Battle School (CBS), located inside the cantonment in Khrew area of saffron town of Pampore.
Pampore is around 15 Kms in South of Srinagar headquarters.
He said all the injured including critically injured army jawans are undergoing advanced treatment at Army’s 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar cantonment.
The spokesman ruled out reports of any sabotage by militants. He added that Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident.
