TIA NEWS / RANCHI-
In a major social and political move, Jharkhand government has decided to implement caste based reservation policy in contractual jobs in government and it’s undertaking.
Through a direction issued by the state department of Personnel, Chief Minister Raghuwar Das has instructed that provisions of reservation roster and recently declared domicile policy be implemented in contractual jobs, which would normally be for three years, and can be extended upto five years.
If the need for any contract post is felt even after five years, then the process would have to be started afresh.
The requirement for interview is done away for the junior posts. However, written exams could be conducted.
