A sub-zonal commander of the banned naxalite organization was arrested in Jharkhand today during a campaign conducted under the joint leadership of Chatra Police and CRPF. The arrest of the naxalite is a big success for the police and shall further weaken the links of the maoist organisation active in areas under Latehar, Palamu and Chatra districts of the state.
A cash reward of Rupees 5 lakhs had announced on his name. Chatra SP Rishabh Jha today briefed that the naxalite has been arrested from his house based on the secret information received by the security forces. Police forces have also recovered cash of Rupees one lakh 16 thousand and five mobile phones along with many bank documents.
