Union Human Resource Development Ministry today postponed JEE and NEET examinations in view of COVID-19 pandemic. Now, JEE Main examination will be held from 1st to 6th September this year and JEE advanced exam on 27th of September.
Medical entrance examination NEET will be held on 13th of September. In a tweet, Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said, the decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of students and to ensure quality education.
Yesterday, the government had set up an Expert Committee to review the situation and submit its recommendations over the postponement of the examinations. The panel has recommended to postpone the examinations.
“Keeping in mind the safety of students and to ensure quality education we have decided to postpone JEE & NEET examinations”, says union minister for HRD Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today
JEE Main examination will be held between 1st-6th Sept, JEE advanced exam will be held on 27th Sept & NEET examination will be held on 13th Sept.
