The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), under the Kushal Bharat Viksit Bharat campaign, felicitated trainees and beneficiaries of the Skill India Mission in Lucknow today. The event was organised at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan and was graced by Minister of State, MSDE, Mr Jayant Chaudhary as the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Chaudhary said that the biggest challenge today is to ensure public participation to promote skill development and entrepreneurship in the country. Mr Chaudhary said that the states can play a vital role in promoting the same. He highlighted that the government is focusing on skill development and has made it a part of the school curriculum so that the youth can develop employable skills at an early age. He informed me that in this year’s budget, Uttar Pradesh has been allocated an amount of Rs 2.43 lakh crore for various developmental projects.
Secretary, MSDE, Mr. Atul Kumar Tiwari, during the event, said that it is very important to focus on skill development and entrepreneurship to achieve the Prime Minister’s goal of Viksit Bharat.
