RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav Sunday announced the merger of six parties of Janata Parivar. These parties are Samajwadi Party, Janta Dal(United), RJD, Janta Dal(Secular), Indian National Lok Dal and Samajwadi Janta Party (Chandrashekhar).
Lalu Prasad said Samajwadi Party President Mulayam Singh Yadav will soon officially announce the merger of these parties.
After National Executive meeting of RJD in Patna, Lalu Prasad said six parties under one flag and one symbol will fight election in the country.
Lalu Prasad said merger of these parties was necessary to counter communal forces in the country.
