Kerala is presently going through a demonic haunted tragic situation. Many lives are lost. Thousands of houses are totally destroyed and many more are damaged. For the first time in the history, 80 dams in the State had to be opened. Never before had the State witnessed a calamity of this tune. In the fight against the flood, we have braved the odds. Due to this disastrous calamity, lakhs of people have been affected. Houses, Hospitals, Educational Institutions and every habitat have become submerged under water. The State Government of Kerala, Army, Political Parties, Religious Organizations, NGOs, and all other good-hearted samaritans are doing relief works in various ways to help the affected people.
Indian Union Muslim League, National Committee has constituted a Relief Committee which is coordinating all the relief activities in the state. The Relief Committee is arranging for distribution of packagers consisting of Food Products, Dresses, Mattress, Blankets, Candles, Match Box, New Nighties, Medical Kit, etc.
Currently, our IUML volunteers are on relief activities in various parts of the state round the clock.
The affected people are being rescued and moved to relief camps. Lakhs of people are living in the camps. The permanent rehabilitation activities will be the most important and expensive task as most of them lost their life time investments like houses, vehicles, valuables, and all other assets. Large amounts of financial assistance would be required for the rehabilitation activities for years. In such a situation, IUML National Committee is requesting your generous contribution to our relief and rehabilitation activities as donations to our bank account given below.
