rajnathIndia’s Home Minister Rajanth Singh will be on a 3-day visit to Bahrain, starting Sunday. The Indian delegation, led by the Home Minister, will include senior officers from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of External Affairs.

During the visit, the Home Minister will have bilateral meeting with the Interior Minister of Bahrain and also interact with prominent members of Indian community.

Rajnath Singh will meet Bahrain King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Interior Minister Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and will discuss with them various bilateral issues.

There will be extensive discussions on how to enhance bilateral cooperation with regard to tackling terror and each other’s fugitives at the meeting between Rajnath Singh and his Bahrain counterpart Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.

Earlier, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday night reviewed the situation along the Indo-Pak border in Jammu and Kashmir.

He called up Director General, BSF, KK Sharma and took stock of the situation along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district.

Senior Home Ministry officials are also in regular touch with BSF officials and monitoring the situation along the border.
