A 70 member strong contingent of Grenadiers from Indian Army are taking part in the Victory Day parade to be held tomorrow in the Red square in Moscow. The Victory Day parade commemorates the victory of allied forces over Nazis in the Second World War. The Indian military contingent is taking part in the parade for the first time to underscore the important role played by Indian soldiers during the Second World War. Speaking to All India Radio, the leader of the contingent Captain Vikas Suhag informed that it is an honour to take part in the parade that salutes martyred soldiers. He informed that army contingent from 10 different countries are taking part in the parade tomorrow. Sharing his experience he said Indian contingent stands out among others by their distinct uniform and marching style.
