India has said that it is with France in the war against Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, ISIL. Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju said, the war against terror should be a global effort. Mr Rijiju today attended a condolence meeting at the Embassy of France in New Delhi to mourn the death of Paris terror attacks victims. He called on nations to isolate those who support and sponsor terrorism and stand with those who share the values of humanism.
Rijiju said, there is need to significantly step up the cooperation in intelligence and disrupt all forms of support to terror groups, who are a common threat to the cherished values and to humanity. He also stressed the need to urgently put in place a comprehensive global strategy to combat terrorism including a suitable international legal framework to deal with the growing threat.
