PM Modi Saudi Arabia Visa

India and Saudi Arabia have totally rejected any attempt to link terrorism with any race, religion or culture. In a joint statement issued during Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s visit to Saudi Arabia today, the two sides called on all nations to reject the use of terrorism against other countries.

Mr. Modi and Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud agreed to further strengthen cooperation in combating terrorism, both at the bilateral level and within the multi-lateral system of the UN.

Two leaders also agreed to work together towards the adoption of India’s proposed Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism in the United Nations.

The two leaders strongly condemned the phenomenon of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations irrespective of who the perpetrators are and their motivations.

The two leaders also agreed to promote cooperation in cyber security including prevention of use of cyber space for terrorism, radicalization and for disturbing social harmony.

Prime Minister Modi, who was on a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia, also met Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif as well as other prominent figures before his departure on Sunday evening.

The signing ceremony was attended by Prince Faisal bin Bandar, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; Minister of State and Cabinet Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf; Minister of Economy and Planning Eng. Adel bin Mohammed Faqih; Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah; Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Al-Toraifi; Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir; Minister of Health Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Faleh; Saudi Ambassador to India Dr. Saud bin Mohammed Al-Sati.
