Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that threat of ISIS is a global challenge and countries must come together to fight against it. Speaking to media on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi today, Mr Singh said, India is fully alert and is ready to deal with any threat from ISIS like groups.

He said, the Centre will soon convene a meeting of Chief ministers of States to discuss the issues related to internal security in the country.

Replying to a media query about rising incidents of intolerance across the world, the Home Minister said, there is no intolerance in India.

Meanwhile Union Home Ministry has issued advisory to states asking them to be alert in the wake of terrorist attack in Paris by IS. Embassies of France, USA, UK and Germany, Australia, Russia, Turkey and Israel in the national capital have also been advised to remain extra vigilant.
