In the Asian Games 2026 in Japan, India clinched two silver medals in squash today at Aichi-Nagoya. Abhay Singh won silver in the Men’s Singles squash. Malaysia’s Eain Yow Ng dominated the final, with Abhay losing in straight games, 9-11, 5-11, 5-11. In women’s singles squash, Anahat Singh also bagged a silver. She lost 4-11, 4-11, and 7-11 to Malaysia’s Sivasangari Subramaniam in the women’s singles final.
India’s Harita Bhadra won bronze medal in the women’s 200m event today. Now India are currently placed 11th in the medal standings and its overall tally has reached 33, with four gold, fourteen silver and fifteen bronze.
