India’s External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar today met the visiting Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, Khalilur Rahman and hosted the Bangladeshi delegation in New Delhi.
In a social media post, Dr Jaishankar said that during the meeting, they discussed strengthening the bilateral relationship between the two nations in its various facets. He added that they also exchanged views on regional and global developments and agreed to remain in close touch.
Trade facilitation measures, including easing non-tariff barriers and improving logistics connectivity, are also on the agenda as both countries seek to unlock greater economic potential.
