AMN / NEW DELHI

India today said it has not received any communication from Pakistan on Kulbhushan Jadhav case. Replying to a query, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said Pakistan needs to provide unhindered, unimpeded consular access to him.

He said, Pakistan needs to address basic issues which pertain to effective review, fulfilment and implementation of ICJ judgement. These issues pertain to making relevant documentation available to India and providing unimpeded, unhindered and unconditional consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav.

On Pakistan’s new map that includes Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and parts of western Gujarat, the spokesperson said, this type of baseless claims show that Pakistan wants to take control of more areas by using cross border terrorism.

On statement by Turkey on Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Srivastava said, it is factually incorrect, biased and unwarranted. He urged Turkey government to get a proper understanding of ground situation and refrain from interfering in matters internal to India.
