Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President J P Nadda will reach Guwahati on Friday evening to take part in a host of events. Both leaders will take part in the party’s state core committee meeting in Guwahati Friday evening.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union ministers Sarbananda Sonowal and Rameshwar Teli, state BJP President Bhabesh Kalita will also take part in the meeting. Next day, both the leaders will inaugurate the party’s new state office at Basistha Chariali in Guwahati. Later, they will address a rally of over 45 thousand party workers at Khanapara. Mr. Shah is also to take part in the North East Council’s meeting in Guwahati and SP’s conference to be held at Dergaon on Sunday.
