Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will formally launch her 2016 presidential campaign on June 13 from New York where she will put forward her vision and ideas to take US forward. Ms. Clinton grew up in Illinois and worked in Massachusetts, Washington DC, Arkansas and New York.

It was the voters of New York who elected her to serve as their first female Senator. In her launch speech at the Franklin D Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park in New York City, Ms. Clinton will lay out her view of the challenges facing this country and her vision and ideas for taking the country forward, campaign officials said.
