Former IPS officer Pankaj Singh will head the panel, which is tasked with submitting its report directly to the Centre.
The crucial discussions took place at Sukna and saw the participation of prominent regional leaders and stakeholders. Attendees included West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, Darjeeling MP Raju Bista, Rajya Sabha member Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Gorkha Jan Mukti Morcha chief Bimal Gurung, GNLF chief Manager Ghishing, GTA secretary Shruti Ranjan Mohanti, Kurseong MLA Sonam Lama, and Kalimpong MLA Bharat Chhetri, alongside other dignitaries.
