With two more deaths due to heat wave during the past two days in Telangana, toll has gone up to 317 during the current season in the state. The heat wave conditions continue to prevail in several parts of the state with Ramagundam recording 46 degrees Celsius maximum temperatures today. Met officials informed that the heat wave conditions will prevail for the next three days in many parts of the state due to hot winds blow over deserts from north-west direction. The day time temperatures are being recorded for the past few days are considerably 2-5 degrees Celsius higher than normal.
The state authorities have cautioned the districts officials to create awareness among people about the heat wave affects especially when they move outdoors between 11 Am and 4 PM.
Meanwhile the Met officials in Hyderabad informed that the heat wave conditions will continue for three more days over several parts of the state mainly due to the North-Westerly hot winds that are blowing over the desert. As a result, the highest maximum temperature of 46 degrees Celsius recorded at Ramagundam today while Kavali and Nellore in Andhra Pradesh recorded 45 degrees Celsius. Khammam, Nalgonda and Bhadrachalam in Telangana state also recorded the Maximum temperatures more than the normal today
