First Omicron positive case was reported today in Haryana. Giving this information Deputy Civil Surgeon, Dr. Rajiv Narwal, Civil Hospital, Pachkula has said, the woman found positive for Omicron is resident of Housing Board colony in Kalka and presently undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
He said, she had returned from America on December 15 and on December17 her sample was taken for COVID test, as her report was positive for COVID so her sample was sent was Omicron test. The report has confirmed, she is positive for Omicron variant of Corona. He said, her all family members were tested negative.
Dr Narwal said it is first confirmed case of Omicron in the district.
