Haryana government has dropped the charge sheet filed against senior IAS officer Ashok Khemka accusing him of six offences including exceeding his jurisdiction by cancelling the mutation of a land deal between Robert Vadra’s Skylight Hospitality and real estate giant DLF.
The officer was chargesheeted in December, 2013 by the then Congress government. The other five offences were of erroneous orders, wrong suggestion, criticising government and its policy in the media, delayed relinquishing of charge and violation of rules.
Mr. Khemka had submitted his reply to the state government earlier this year. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar gave him a personal hearing on 6th of last month. Khemka has said that he is not yet aware of any such move by the state government. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sanjeev Kaushal has confirmed the development
