Girl child ratio has increased to 938 per 1000 male children in February in Haryana,. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal today informed this in the house during ongoing budget session of the State Assembly.
He told that in January this year, the registered girl child ratio was 922. The Chief Minister said that the gradual increase in the ratio of girl child is result of effective implementation of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ programme implemented by Prime Minister from Panipat in the country.
