Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has assured that the Government is ready to discuss the North East Delhi violence in Parliament after Holi on the 11th of March. He said, normalcy is restoring in Delhi and some parts of the country as well. Briefing media in New Delhi, the Minister cautioned, sometimes the discussions in the House may flare up or instigate tensions.
He suggested that keeping this in view, a cautious decision was taken to discuss the Delhi issue following the peaceful celebrations of the Holi with priority to the restoration of normalcy.
The Minister underlined the urgency of the passing of the Banking Regulation (Amendment) Bill, 2020 (Vivad Se Vishwas) has to be cleared as Four lakh 80 thousand tax-related cases in various tribunals and courts involving about Nine lakh crore rupees are pending in the country. The Minister termed, this Bill is important for the development of the country.
