Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu today criticised Congress saying it is not fair on its part to set conditions for the passage of the GST bill.
Talking to media in New Delhi Mr Naidu said, the condition about cap on taxes put forward by Congress and reiterated by its Vice-President Rahul Gandhi yesterday is not liked by many.
He also said, if the clauses were so crucial, the UPA could have brought these in the original bill when it was in power.
He added that Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had earlier discussed three conditions put by the Congress regarding GST with the party leaders.
