Union Minority Affairs Minister Najma Heptulla has said that the government is committed to the development of minorities across the country. Ms Heptulla said, skill development of minorities is required so that they can take benefit of the government’s initiatives being launched for them.
Interacting with media in New Delhi today on two year achievements of the NDA government, she said so far 24,800 madrasa students have been given skill training under Nai Manzil Scheme.
The Minister said, StandUp India scheme offers minority women opportunities to realize their entrepreneurial skills. She said, the government believes in Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas therefore giving more importance to the welfare and development of deprived minorities.
