Germany has decided to close its embassy in Ankara and its consulate in Istanbul. Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier told reporters in Berlin that it was also decided to close German schools in both cities, after receiving a security warning that terrorist attacks are being prepared against German facilities in Turkey.
