Mr. Gaurav Swarup, Managing Director, Paharpur Cooling Towers Ltd. on Monday took over as the President, All India Organisation of Employers (AIOE), an allied body of FICCI, at the conclusion of the 82nd Annual General Meeting of the organisation.
Mr. Rohit Relan, Managing Director, Bharat Seats Ltd. is Vice President for the year 2016.
Paharpur Cooling Towers is a Rs.1500 crore company involved in the manufacture of process cooling equipment – cooling towers and air cooled heat exchangers, flexible consumer packaging, real estate and investments. Its cooling towers and air cooled heat exchangers are supplied to energy, petrochemicals, steel and other general industries. It is the market leader in India and its products are exported to South East Asia, and the Middle East.
The Flexible Packaging Division is engaged in the manufacture of co-extruded films, printed laminated films, pouches, etc. primarily for food packaging.
The Real Estate division is engaged in realty development along with Pragnya fund.
Mr. Swarup is also Chairman, KSB Pumps Ltd., Pune, the Indian arm of KSB AG. of Germany having a turnover of Rs.600 crore per annum in which the Swarup family is the joint venture partner of KSB AG.
He holds a Master of Business Administration, Harvard University, USA (1980) and is a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from Jadavpur University, Calcutta (1978).
Mr. Swarup is also Chairman of the FICCI West Bengal Council & Member, National Executive Council, FICCI.
Mr. Rohit Relan is spearheading the growth strategy and diversification of Bharat Seats Ltd as well as the Group. Mr. Relan has 30 years’ experience in the manufacturing Industry and experience of collaborating with Japanese and other international partners.
Through his professional qualification, he plays an active role in financial services sector, which is an integral part of the family business. He is a Chartered Account (CPA) and has also undertaken Owner President Program – Harvard Business School and Management Development Program – INSEAD France.
Mr. Relan is also Director – Sharda Motor Industries Ltd, Sharda INOAC Pvt Ltd, Toyota Boshoku Relan India Pvt Ltd, and Relan Industrial Finance Limited. He is a National Executive Committee Member of FICCI.
