Former Indian Hockey player, Olympian and Gold Medallist, Davinder Singh Garcha passed away today. He was 74. A former IPS officer, he was part of the Indian hockey team that won the gold medal in the 1980 Moscow Olympics. He had scored a total 8 goals in 6 Olympic matches and played many international matches as well.
He was also the President of Mohinder Singh Munshi Hockey Tournament.
