The 9th and final batch of three declassified files relating to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose were released online in New Delhi. The files pertain to Ministry of External Affairs from the period 1953 to 1990.
Culture Secretary N.K. Sinha released the file on a web portal www.netajipapers.gov.in.
An official release said, till now, 300 files have been put in public domain. The Ministry said, the release of these files will ultimately meet the continued public demand to access these files and this will also facilitate scholars to carry out further research on the doyen of the freedom movement.
The first lot of 100 files relating to Netaji, were put in the public domain by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi January this year, on the occasion of the 119th birth anniversary of Netaji.
