The FIFA U-17 Women World Cup India 2022 kick started in, Odisha today. In the first match today, Brazil U-17 defeated Morocco U-17 by 1-0 at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar. Second match of the day, between India and USA will be played at the same venue at 8 pm IST.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended best wishes to all teams taking part in the Under-17 Women’s World Cup starting today. In a tweet, Mr. Modi said, India is proud to be hosting this tournament. He expressed confidence that the tournament will witness a celebration of football and the teams will also get a glimpse of India’s hospitality.
