Electioneering by star campaigners of political parties is in full swing for the second, third and fourth phase of Lok Sabha election in Bihar .Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Rajnath Singh addressed election rallies in support of NDA candidates at Purnia, Banka and Araria.
Addressing an election meeting in Banka, Mr Singh said naxal violence and terror-related incidents has registered a sharp decline in the country due to zero tolerance policy adopted by the NDA government.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi addressed an election meeting in Katihar in favour of party candidate Tarique Anwar. Mr. Gandhi said if voted to power, Congress will waive farm loans.
JD(U) president and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, BJP’s Bihar in-charge Bhupendra Yadav, party leader Sushil Kumar Modi and RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav also addressed elections meetings in support of their respective alliance candidates.
