The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached movable and immovable properties worth around 442 crore rupees in connection with the case related to Rummy Culture App and Others. The ED informed that the action was taken under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The agency said attached properties, including fixed deposits, commercial shops, a villa and several residential properties, were held in the names of persons and entities linked to Gameskraft Technologies Private Limited.
Earlier, the ED conducted Search and Seizure operations at the office premises of Gameskraft Technologies Private Limited and the residential premises of its Directors and key employees. As per ED, the total value of Proceeds of Crime attached, frozen and seized during the course of investigation so far stands at 2,843 Crore rupees. The agency said, investigation conducted so far has revealed that Gameskraft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and RummyTime Technologies Pvt. Ltd. were engaged in operating online Real Money Games, particularly online rummy games and tournaments, through mobile applications under various brands, including RummyCulture, RummyPrime, Playship and RummyTime. Further investigation is in progress.
