Lok Sabha today witnessed a stormy beginning when Congress members trooped into the well demanding apology from Minister of State in the External Affairs, V.K. Singh for his anti Dalit remarks. Shouting slogans, Opposition members demanded action against the Union Minister.
Leader of the Congress Party in the House, Mallikarjun Kharge said that Prime Minister is silent over the issue and his Ministers are continuously defaming the different sections of the society. Speaker Sumitra Mahajan urged the members to calm down and go back to their seats.
However, the members continued to disrupt the proceedings of the House. Amidst sloganeering the proceedings of the House is on. Earlier, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu took a serious concern over the flood situation in Tamil Nadu and proposed a discussion in the House.
