President Pranab Mukherjee today said that cyber crime had become a serious matter of concern locally and globally and a major threat to the National Security.
Speaking at the convocation function of College of Military Engineering, CME in Pune today, he expressed confidence that engineers passing out today will definitely face the challenge of growing Cyber Crime incidents with the expertise which they have acquired while undergoing courses at CME.
CME is a premier engineering training institution providing training to the Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and other ranks of Indian Army and also those from friendly countries. It is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. In today’s convocation, Degree of B.Tec. was conferred to 64 officers and 5 officers received M. Tec. degree.
