CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury has indicated that his party’s doors of an electoral alliance with Congress in West Bengal remain open.
Talking to mediapersons a day ahead of his party’s Plenum to be held from tomorrow till 31 December in Kolkata, he said BJP is already in some understanding with Trinamool Congress, as was evident in the last Parliamentary elections.
Yechury also said hat too many aged leaders holding various posts is one of the problems the CPI-M is currently facing and added that the Plenum will look into the issue.
