The Central Secretariat of the Communist Party of India has issued the following statement to the Press today. In view of a FIR filed against him in Solar scam case and after the exposure of corruption of him and his two ministers we believe that he has no moral right to continue in office.

The Thrissur Vigilance Court today ordered an FIR to be filed against Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Power Minister Aryadan Muhammed in the wake of the revelations made by Solar scam accused Sarita S. Nair before the Solar Commission. The court ordered filing of FIR on a public interest litigation filed by one T.D. Joseph and said unusual verdicts could come in unusual circumstances.
Reacting to the Court order, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy who is currently in Kozhikode, has said this is a political conspiracy of the liquor lobby. Meanwhile, Opposition leader V. S. Achudanandan, has demanded that the Governor should oust the Oommen Chandy Government.
