Panaji Special court dealing with corruption cases today once again rejected the bail plea of former Goa PWD Minister Chruchill Alemao in connection with the Louis Berger bribery case. Alemao was arrested on the 5 August by the crime branch and is presently in Judicial Custody.

After the court granted anticipatory bail to former Chief Minster Mr Digamber kamat in the same case on Wednesday, Churchill Alemao again applied for the bail a second time, which was rejected today by the special court.

The Crime Branch of Goa Police has already moved the High Court challenging the anticipatory bail granted to Mr Kamat in the Louis Berger case.
