Congress has welcomed the ratification of Indo-Bangladesh Land Boundary Agreement. Briefing media, party spokesperson Shakeel Ahmed said the agreement would have been signed in 2011 during UPA rule. He said it did not come to pass due to the stubbornness of Opposition parties.
Replying to a question on statement of BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj that Ram Temple will come up during NDA tenure, the Congress leader said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should explain his stand on the issue. He said there is contradiction in what the Prime Minister says, and what his MPs say.
