Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, K K Sharma has directed for framing a comprehensive mechanism to effectively promote small scale industrial sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that aspiring entrepreneurs should be provided with necessary support by creating ecosystems for competitive goods and services. Mr Sharma was speaking at the Board of Directors meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Small Scale Industries Development Corporation Ltd (SICOP) at Jammu yesterday.
He directed the officers to ensure that small scales industries sector get requisite support from various government initiatives. The Advisor asked them to be proactive to the demands and suggestions given by the aspiring entrepreneurs and start-ups.
