Madhya Pradesh, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today inducted nine new ministers in his council of ministers on Thursday.
Governor Ramnaresh Yadav administered oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers in a brief function held at Raj Bhawan in capital Bhopal on Friday evening. Out of nine new ministers, four have been given rank of cabinet minister.
They include Archana Chitnis, Jaibhan Singh Pawaiyya, Rustam Singh and Om Prakash Dhruve. Five ministers Vishwas Sarang, Sanjay Patahk, Harsh Singh and Surya Prakash Meena took oath as minister of state.
Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has tried to maintain social and regional balance in this expansion, keeping in the view the 2018 state assembly elections.
