Chief Justice of India, CJI, TS Thakur has called upon the advocates to help expedite the cases pending in high courts. Addressing the gathering of inaugural programme of spectacular new building of Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court, Justice Thakur said that as Allahabad High Court is celebrating its 150th year of existence, the advocates and bench should resolve to expedite maximum cases. He profusely appreciated that the 1300 crore rupees building has no equal to it anywhere in the world.
Justice Thakur further said that the aspirations of common people have increased with the judiciary and it is incumbent upon the judicial system to deliver the speedy and cheap justice to people.
Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court Dr DY Chandrachud said we are not here to rule anyone but to serve our people. He stressed that our whole system should work in tandem to serve the people seeking justice. Governor Ram Naik, CM Ahkilesh Yadav, West Bengal Governor and other dignitaries also addressed the gathering.
